A favorite quote of mine...

Top 5...

When I was younger my best friend Jen and I were obsessed with making list of our favorite things. I figured I would continue the tradition and so I present my first list. Being the movie buff that I am, I'm going to start off my first Top 5 list with "Most Anticipated Films of 2009". I know the year is closing in but there are still a lot of movies I am looking forward to seeing. So, without further ado (and in no particular order), I bring you my first list...

*EDIT* The formatting on my blog cuts off the trailers so if you would like to view one I suggest clicking on it twice. This will take you to the original site (YouTube) where you can watch it in HD.

It's been a while

I decided it is time to start blogging again; though I must admit, there is not much to tell just now. Life has been frustrating, if I am being truthful. But amidst all the frustration and disappointments, God has been working mightily. I never thought I'd be in a position like this (jobless) a year after graduating. I'll admit, I've made many mistakes between then and now. However, despite all of this, God still remains faithful. Looking at the bigger picture has always been easier for me than looking at the smaller one. Details always tend to escape me and I find myself constantly looking at where I want to be instead of focusing on how to get there. At the end of the day, its about surrendering in obedience to God with the desire for a holiness that ultimately leads to His glory.
